898. Simon Carpenter

BIRTH: Jan 1868, 1868 and at death 8 Jan 1865.  He was born a Srouf and when his mother remarried Carpenter, he later took the name Carpenter as his last name. The various censuses are consistent with 1868. SO, it is possible that the death record with 1865 is wrong?  And Carpenter is the biological father after all?  YES! It was wrong!
A Y-DNA test of a descendant of this Simon shows the genetic markers to be consistent with Group 3 of the Carpenter Cousins Y-DNA Project. The conclusion is that Simon had a biological Carpenter father.
