The following two later wills are extremely interesting because they show who the Carpenters were in the area of Taunton, which includes Wellington which I discussed previously (Carpenter and Arnold connected manor land). Alice Carpenter and her sisters came from this area as well. I suspect Alexander Carpenters was a son of these Taunton clothiers and had connections to other London connected clothiers who became part of the Pilgrim community in Holland. A reading of these wills will may be interesting.
