Descendants of an unnamed Carpenter-210825 of the old Washington District of North Carolina,
which is now part of Obion County, Tennessee

Notes

1. Carpenter

NOTE:
Temporary connector to genetically related Carpenters. We have eliminated most but not all candidates.
I believe these three "children" are closely related, but exactly how is not known.

The base commonality connect is the Obion River and the time before Obion County was formed.
One Jacob Carpenter buys 100 acres the future Obion County. The other has a son who goes to Obion County.

There is a time gap between these two entries into present day Obion County. But this common denominator is suggestive that the two male Carpenter lines are closely related.

ANCESTRY & County Issues:
It is assumed that this Carpenter line came from North Carolina and settled in the old Washington District of North Carolina, which is now part of Obion County, Tennessee. Due to mutltiple changes of the old Washington District into a County then being sub-divided into new Counties with many boundary changes this has created an unique challenge for researchers.

It is believed that these Carpenter lines are from a German Zimmerman immigrant line. But clearly, this is not proved.

Until further documentation comes forth, please consider this un-named Carpenter speculative.
