Hi John,
This one was hard to read. I saw a slightly clearer version of the baptism on Généalogie Québec and the baptism date of 9 July and birth date of 8 July are correct. I made notes on your PDF, see image below, and also attached the PDF with the notes. "Le neuvième du mois de Juillet...." = "The ninth of the month of July".
I also attached a screen shot from PRDH. Their abstraction of the baptism concurs with Tanguay, born 8 and baptized 9 July 1690. (image)
I hope this helps. Let me know if you ever need help with any other French records, even if not related to our shared project. Translating and transcribing French records is something I like to do and have had lots of experience with.
