John,
I am currently researching my wife’s paternal line from Cherryville NC, who I believe to be your “group5”. In researching I ran across your Carpenter Cousins site ... Any info you could provide or a new link would be most helpful.
Her line is Charles, Everette, Clayton HO, Ephraim, Henry.
