Visitation will be until 10 p.m. today at Falgout Funeral Home, Houma, resuming 8 a.m. Tuesday and continue until funeral time. The funeral will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday from the funeral home, with religious services following 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church on Little Caillou. Burial will be in St. Elie Cemetery on Upper Little Caillou.

Survivors include a son, Dennis Charpentier; three brothers, Lawrence, Leon and Elizie Charpentier Jr.; two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Bourg and Mrs. Hattie Stoufflet; and two grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Eugenie Ledet Charpentier; a daughter, Gladys Charpentier, four brothers, Joseph, Emile, Edwin and Clovis Charpentier, and two sisters, Mrs. Elodie Duplantis and Mrs. Leona LeBouef.

Falgout Funeral Home, Houma, is handling arrangements.

She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a friend to all who knew her. A woman of great faith, she is leaving a legacy to many who loved her and will always keep her close to their hearts.
She will be deeply missed.

He loved spending time with his family, playing cards with his friends and going to his camp. He devoted much of his time to his community. He was deeply loved and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
